Orumba South Mayor, Prince Uchendu Demonstrate Competence As He Joins Gov. Soludo On Mega Construction Projects In Anambra.

In line with the Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo agenda of building a peaceful, livable and prosperous smart mega homeland, the transition committee chairman of Orumba South Council Area, Prince Uchendu Neville has follow the lead of Mr. Governor as he unveils the renovated ultra council hall and canteen at the council headquarters in Umunze.

The historic event which took place at the Orumba South Local government headquarters was well attended by top government functionaries, stakeholders, party faithfuls, friends and well wishers who storm the venue in their numbers to show their appreciation and support for the completed project and pledge their continuous allegiance to the party.

It was gathered that the renovated structures was completely abandoned and left in a total dilapidated state before it's reconstruction by the mayor on assumption of office.

Inaugurating the projects, the Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Mr. Tony-Collins Nwabunwanne said that the reconstruction is in line with Governor Soludo's mantra of building a livable and prosperous homeland. He said that efforts are in top gear to include more projects in the council area so as to receive facelift too. Mr. Commissioner also said that Governor Soludo is committed to uplifting all dilapidated structures in all council areas of the State.

He commended the council Chairman for judicious use of funds allocated to him for the reconstruction of the projects, describing him as a man who has the interest of others at heart.

Speaking immediately after the unveiling ceremony, the Former Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Engr. Emeka Sibeudu expressed his satisfaction with the development strides and transformation agenda of Gov. Soludo.

According to him, it's a wonderful day for APGA faithfuls in Orumba South as they welcome new members who defected to the ruling party stating that it signifies that APGA has come to stay as members have expressed trust and commitment to support the good work of the working governor. Thanking God for the person of Prof. Soludo, he appealed to Ndi Anambra to gives the current administration all the necessary support to continue to lift Anambra to a greater height.

Also speaking, the APGA State Chairman, Barr. Ifeatu Obi-Okoye described the project as a welcome development which is in line with the expectations of the good people of Orumba South Council Area. While commending his zeal and passion, he however advised the mayor to continue the positive work of transformation as he engages more grassroot developmental projects that will make Orumba South Council Area a model amongst it contemporaries.

Welcoming new members, Barr. Ifeatu commended their bravery in defected to APGA, stating that he is on a mission to bring all other political parties to collapse their structures in Apga, noting that the era of indiscipline in the party is gone.

lending his voice, the member representing Orumba South in the state house of assembly, Hon. Emma Nwafor also commended Princes Uchendu for his dexterity and resilience in building a laudable legacy in the local government and called on all the well meaning sons and daughters of Orumba South to support the council chairman vision to make the council area great again.

In their separate remarks, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Foster Ihejiofor and the Managing Director, Bishop Motors Ltd, Chief Bishop Chukwuma Egbim expressed their excitement stating that the development indicates that Prince Uchendu is in sync with the policy direction of the state as he joins the governor in renovating, revamping, reactivating the important projects in the state. Describing Mayor as an achiever who is mindful of his heritage and ready to serve, called for more collaboration to enable him achieve more progress in the local government expressing optimism that Gov Soludo together with the efforts and supports of the transition committee chairmen will be more than successful.

Appreciating, the transition committee chairman of Orumba South, Prince Neville noted that what motivated him to embark on the project was his desire to lead by example following the footprint of the Gov. Soludo haven travel far and wide and seen the need to transform his homeland like what is obtainable around the world.

He also appreciated the new party members and enjoined them to key into the transformational development agenda of the party and thanked Soludo for his support, and promised not to disappoint Ndi Orumba South and the Governor.

Other notable dignitaries who graced the event includes, the Deputy Chief of Staff/Chief Protocol to the Governor, Mr. Chinedu Nwoye Glamour , Chairman Anambra State Urban Regeneration Council, Arch Michael Okonkwo, stakeholders, traditional rulers amongst others were at the event...

Please check the meaning of "faces-off" in your dictionary shocked. So it is this kind of project that "Mayor of Atlanta" is commissioning?shocked, big title, small project, na wa oo undecided
