The South Easterners (specifically the Igbos) should be honest about wanting an Igbo president. There is nothing wrong with that desire. The problem is covering it with faux nationality and making one candidate seem like the messiah. False presentation of intentions will continue to erode the trust other ethnic groups have for Igbos.

If, instead of trying to drag Tinubu's personality and past achievements in the mud in order to promote a less-performing Obi they had openly and transparently made a case for a president from an under-represented region, a lot of empathy and consideration would have been built. And the benefits would have come through in the coming years even if not in the current elections.

As far as I am concerned, ibos don't want any one of them to be president. That is why they betrayed Peter obi. Because the nonsense they did before election is a campaign in favour of the opposition. How will you be insulting everyone who doesn't support your candidate and call it a campaign? If that is how they think campaign should be, they better continue with their spare parts business because they will never be president.

.

So, when Tinubu who even openly confessed to not believing in one Nigeria runs for presidency, Nigerians should trust him because of what exactly? Over a Peter Obi that every sane and honest Nigerian knows that truly believes in Nigeria and has CONSISTENTLY shown that in all his political life?
Tell me who has ever come to canvass to become Nigeria's president that did not wear the toga of nationalism in the history of presidential elections in Nigeria.
They all say the same thing: ALL OF THEM, INCLUDING YOUR THIEVING BALA BLU.
But you will only focus on Igbo and accuse them of "faux nationality"(sic).
Inciting other ethnic groups against Igbo by implying that their trust of Igbo is being eroded.
Eroded by who and what?
Only ONE ethnic group in Nigeria really hates the Igbo today, and it is because they think that their son is in power.
Other ethnic groups in Nigeria know the truth and they are standing staunchly behind Obi to reclaim his stolen mandate.
My happiness is that Peter Obi won the elections fair and square, and even satan will be forced to accept that truth.
It really doesn't matter what happens afterwards as long as the whole world knows the truth.
Meanwhile Bala Blu is already headed to Europe for his medical procedures. And that fact does not shame you.
Tufiakwa unu.

Tinubu supporters also insulted obi supporters, is a one on one situation. Can u swear with ur scrotum that Tinubu supporters never insulted obi supporters, they only difference is that Tinubu supporters always come online to complain of being insulted typically attitude of a child, just as the OP created a thread only to talk about how Tinubu was dragged to the mud as if obi was not also dragged and that's Y there are many thread on this section talking ill about the SE, how many ill thread have u seen so far talking ill about other region and yet u are still complaining of being insulted. I think is time you all should grow up.

No responsible or rather busy man have time to create a thread to talk ill about a region exactly y igbos are considered a very hard working tribe, no time for bullshit always looking for a way to cash out
