Reigning In Glory by Myer(m): 5:03am On Jun 20, 2023
Praise the LORD.
Truly... God is here in our midst.
His name and only His name will be glorified tonight and always... in our lives, in this ministry, in our hearts, in all that concerns us... in heaven and on earth forever and ever. Amen

I am honored to be counted among us tonight... in God's Presence.
So many want this privilege but don't have it.
Some have never experienced it.
Some have lost it.
Some have it but do not value it.
Thank God for His Grace and Mercy that are new every morning.
If you can pray in the holyghost... please appreciate this God!

I was an atheist so I understand this.
I backslided so this was my story.
For a very long time, this was me.
Please value the Presence of God. It is all around us. Any where we Hallow His Name... He is present.
Where 2 or 3 are gathered in the name of Jesus... He is here.
Where there is Love, He is here.
Father we Hallow Your Name.
Your Kingdom Come
Your Will Be Done On Earth As It Is Heaven. Amen

I want to start by thanking God for Everything.
The topic before us tonight is Reigning in Glory

Is anyone qualified to take a topic as powerful as this?
I am least qualified.
And this is what qualifies me.
Because I have no choice but to depend on the Holy Spirit to Help me.

To Trust God to have mercy on us all and make His Abundant Love tangible in our midst and our hearts tonight and beyond.

To have Faith and Rest in the Finished Works of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in whom we and all things Consist.

Let us begin by defining the component words.
Reign (verb):
1. To exercise sovereign power, to rule as a monarch/king.
2. To be the winner of the most recent iteration of a competition.
3. To be a dominant quality of a place or situation; to prevail, predominate, rule.

Glory:
• Great beauty and splendor.
• Honour, admiration, or distinction, accorded by common consent to a person or thing; high reputation; renown.
• That quality in a person or thing which secures general praise or honour.
• Worship or praise

These are the sensual definitions of these words. But they help us to have an idea of the spiritual.
First let's establish that reigning in Glory is talking about Kingdom.
It is where there is a kingdom that there can be reigning.
Permit me to therefore define kingdom.

Kingdom
• A realm having a king and/or queen as its actual or nominal sovereign.
• A realm, region, or conceptual space where something is dominant.

I choose not to select only one definition because each one has a dimension it communicates... and I trust the Holysoirit to interprete beyond what the dictionary can convey into our hearts and understanding in Jesus name. Amen.

Our anchor verse is taken from Romans 5:17
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! (NIV)

I want us to also bear in mind our Lord's Prayer.
I believe we can all recite the Lord's Prayer.
But just to fulfill all righteousness,

Matt.6.9-13
In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

First thing I want us to understand is the simplicity of the gospel.

1Cor.1.27-29 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
And the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
That no flesh should glory in His presence.

Everything that pertains to our salvation.
Almost all of us have heard it.

2Pet.1.2-4 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,
as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

When I say salvation here, I mean;
Repentance
Conversion
Santification
Glorification

Salvation is an ongoing process... it is a lifetime journey.
We will always need salvation.
From sin, demons, sicknesses, temptations, trials, tribulations, enemies  death, self, etc.
And salvation from hell.

All we need is the True Knowledge of God and Jesus Christ
Who we are and our position/purpose in the Kingdom of God,
And of course our Enemy, Satan.

We first of all need to know that we are lost, helpless, hopeless and dead with out Christ.
Does anyone disagree with this?

Until we realise this, we are not yet ready for the kingdom of God.
The Gospel can only profit us little.

It is when we know that life outside Christ is death and crises, that's when we can understand that life is not some where we can afford to be carnal or casual.
Life is a battle field.

We are so tied and used to the Kingdom of Earth.
When we are created for the Kingdom of Heaven.
Some of us have never accessed the Kingdom of Heaven.
Some of us don't even understand what it means.

John the Baptist was sent to prepare the way for the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, came to bring the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus Christ speaking of the Passion and Desperation need for the Kingdom of God said this;
Matt.11.12 - And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

What is the kingdom of Heaven?
Rom.14.17 - for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Luke.17.20-21 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, "See here!' or "See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you."

Oluwamayowa: How can we have access into this Kingdom of Heaven?

We already know the answer.
But do we understand it?

John.3.3 - Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

John.3.4-5 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"

Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

How Do We Reign In This Kingdom?
John.3.7 - Do not marvel that I said to you, "You must be born again.'

John.3.8 - The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

This is the conclusion.
Heb.6.1-3 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
And this we will do if God permits.

We have to grow in the adequate knowledge of the Foundations.

Foundational/Elementary Principles
1. Repentance from dead works
2. Faith toward God
3. Doctrine of Baptisms.
4. Laying on of hands
5. Resurrection of the dead
6. Eternal judgment.

Then we can walk in Perfection.
Perfection is where we reign.

Thank you all for your time.
And I pray that God who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Chrst.. Amen

The love of God for us

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

When Adam sinned, he lost the direct access he initially had with God. (Genesis 3) God decided to send his only begotten son (Jesus) to pay the price for our sins on the cross of calvary because of his love for us. When Christ resurrected, he restored all privileges that we once had and brought redemption to us all. All we need is to believe that he died for our sin and has once again granted us direct access with God. No longer through an intermediary! (Mathew 27:50-53).

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

If our earthly parents care so much for us, how much more our father in heaven! (Luke 11:11-13). God’s love for us is infinite. He has promised to supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philipians 4:19).

Prayer of Salvation

Lord Jesus, I accept and acknowledge you as my personal lord and savior. I sincerely ask that you forgive my sins. Come into my life and pour out your spirit on me. By faith, I receive the promise of the father, which is the holy spirit. (John 14:16) I thank you for the price that you paid for me on the cross of calvary. Thank you for my redemption. I pray that your power, grace and favor will abide with me now and forever more. Amen.

I understand you. Hyper Grace is a false doctrine. And that's one of the faulty satanic doctrines that deceived even the very elects and has brought Christianity to mockery in this generation.
I trust God to save as many as are under this bondage and seek perfection.

This is Our Lord and Savior Himself rejecting believers who continue in sin.

Luke.13.26-27 then you will begin to say, "We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.'
But He will say, "I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.'

This is a confirmation by the Word again.
Prov.28.13 - He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

Then Paul, the Apostle of Grace also by the Inspiration of Christ confirms this.

1Cor.9.27 - But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Grace and Mercy multiplied to you in Jesus name. Amen.
