Member Representing Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon Amobi Godwin Ogah has described the news as published by Channels TV and other online media platforms admonishing Peter Obi and Labour party to accept defeat as will of God as Misleading and doesn't represent what he said during the interview.

Hon. Ogah who made this known to Newsmen through his media team described the News as fake and something to be disregarded.

The Statement reads:

DISCLAIMER! DISCLAIMER!! DISCLAIMER!!!

The attention of the member representing the good people of Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi federal constituency Hon Amobi Godwin Ogah has been drawn to the misleading publications of some media houses & blogs misquoting the honourable member on an interview session during his Election Victory church thanksgiving Service" That he admonished Peter Obi and Labour party to accept defeat as will of God"

Given this unwholesome publication, Hon Amobi Ogah wishes to make it abundantly clear to the public that What He said ".. that those candidates like APC -Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha & others who contested Election with him in his federal Constituency should accept defeat, that his Election Victory is the will of God,that if they didn't win today, they will win tomorrow. He futher said that the time of Election has come and gone, now it's time for good governance and delivery of Democracy dividends to his people." Notably, Hon Amobi Ogah never mentioned Peter Obi or LP. He is not in any way against Peter Obi and his Dear party who gave him platform to win Election..

Finally, He advised his great supporters and electorates in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal Constituency to ignore fake News trending on social media as this constitutes unnecessary distractions. He urge them to remain calm, peaceful and focus on great expectations as he promised.

Cunning man. If you are telling APC to accept your victory then you are also telling LP to accept their defeat also🙄

Lol!

The press has made this guy their darling.
They will always set him up by approaching him to get his view on issues.

The only way he’d escape what the press want to do to him is if he stops granting interviews to them.

Aside that, expect to hear of Amobi Ogah for the next four years.

Hon Sir, you're always notorious for spewing trash against your own party. You won the election on the platform of the Labor Party and mainly due to Peter OBI's effect, but today you're sounding so ungrateful. It is well. Though Tinubu hasn't put a foot wrong since he was sworn in. He's on the right path and God will help him. His administration will favor us IJN

Peter Obi will never accept defeat even if everyone asks him to. If we continue to let thieves have their way we will have no country left.

Obi has been relegated to the trash can. The obi banter has no appeal for me again. I said Obi can never win and he did not win, what is there to be 'speechless' about
