This improved light people are talking about, we that are living in Lagos outskirts I mean from Magboro, Mowe, Ibafo, Aseese, Simawa etc don't know about it o.

The total light we've had this week is not even up to 12 hours. People here depend on Generators and Solar.

So sorry about this. I have heard of Mowe and Ibafo. The remaining names are new to me.

Like I was telling a loved one earlier, individual solar installation is the abberation in a country where minimum wage is 30k.

Nazgul:

Exactly. What was increased was the tariff not the energy consumption rate. So it won't affect your already loaded units.

It's like what happened during the lockdown of 2020 when MTN started selling their N100 MTN card for N150. That N100 recharge card would still give you the same call time cos the call rates wasn't increased, what was increased was the recharge card.

Biko hurry and buy yours... delay is dangerous.

Another perspective, they said they will REVIEW. It could be downward review, it could be left the way it is. Let's not panic. cheesy

Lol...has your country ever approved down downward review since it's existence?

Better start panicking... ๐Ÿ˜

For the past one week, they want to kill us with electricity. We used to have at least 15hours a day, sometimes it goes up, but it is approx 24 hours now.

It feels like they just take it make the transformer cool small and it is back again.

Is this general?
I mean, NATIONWIDE?

I forgot to add that our tariff was quietly increased last month.

I hope this change would be permanent.

What area in Lagos if May ask?

Population of South Africa 59.39 million (2021)

Population of Nigeria 213.4 million (2021)

Someone please work out energy per person in both countries.
