Yes, Asian cities like those in China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore (city) look futuristic in architecture and transportation infrastructure and cashless and convenient payment options. However ‘livability’ encompasses not just the beautifulness of a city but also the standard and cost of living, the ease of doing business, public outdoor spaces such as parks, garden; ease of transportation, urban infrastructures like housing, roads; number of schools, social services, health services, human integration etc. I love Asian cities still; Shanghai remains my favourite Asian city.
