1. Forget education, the reason why jagaban lost in Abuja and Lagos was due to Christian sentiments; we have the headquarters of most of the top churches in these two states and the non open minded Christians feared the Muslim Muslim ticket.
2. Tinubu never planned to win the south south and south east from the get go. Obi winning the south south reduced the votes that could have gone to pdp and Atiku
3. Osun has a pdp governor who is loved by his people due to the failings Oyetola ( the former governor from apc). Hence the governor was able to use incumbent power to mobilize his people for pdp and also prove his popularity in the state and to use it as a yardstick at the tribunal( which he eventually won)
I only just got back to the south south now from Osun state. I was at a function over the weekend in the state and the governor was also at the event
