Since the rise of ChatGPT most people are beginning to see where Artificial Intelligence is headed.

Some are scared of a dystopian future where it makes the alot of careers suffer hostile takeovers which we are starting to see from ChatGPT literally making the works of copy writers seem redundant.

Some claim that AI will not take our jobs but someone using AI will take our Jobs, if you are on linkedIn you would have seen such posts everywhere.

Meanwhile, Some are optimistic that AI will lead us to an Utopian future where everything is literally perfect for everyone, And there are only few companies rooting for this future, such as Facebook's parent company "Meta" and fortunately a Nigerian company "Mock Stage".

The race of Artificial Intelligence is a race towards Artificial General Intelligence and any country, continent, race or denomination that reaches AGI first will hold very powerful technology which could pose a potential threat or value to others depending on how it is used.

Hence every country or division is fighting so hard to ensure they are leading the race in some way, luckily Africa is not sleeping on this race, we have refused to be late adopters or simply consumers in this race. There are AI experts from Nigeria who since 6 years, saw this future and have been working hard to rewrite the story of the African creators.

Mock Stage while at infancy was deployed to the web which saved over 175 innocent Nigerians from loosing over 450 million naira to Telegram and Web Ponzi schemes. The Mock Stage AI has a scam or lie detector that allows users to analyze proposals, conversations and contacts, It is a tool the so called "Yahoo Boys" are not happy of its existence as it can drastically make it very difficult for them to commit cyber crime on their victims. Even though it takes guts to go against such complex problem of cyber crime, Mock Stage does not intend to prevent the means of income of some of our ignorant or misguided citizens, the intention is to use Artificial Intelligence to open up new opportunities for our African people and carry everyone along in this race to AGI.

There are only a few companies who really care about carrying the public along in innovations like this because this is a capitalist's zone, however Mock Stage have deployed several tools that tells a different story about inclusivity.

Recently Mock Stage Deployed an AI Reality TV Show which is an Entertainment platform powered by AI where the Hosts are AI personalities and anyone from around the continent can connect and participate. I am posting this to make our Nairalanders aware that there is a company that cares genuinely of the safety and empowerment of the Africans and have introduced ways for people to take advantage of it, If we are distracted from what is going on, we will all loose this race as a continent and possibly remain consumers A.K.A intelligent slaves.

I urge everyone to check out Mock Stage and support the movement by spreading the news - www.mockstage.com
