Jamestaiwo:This is false teaching because Elijah's asks were backed by God's Law of Moses, which He, Elijah, lived under.  Jesus Christ never rebuked Elijah. True, if the one he called down from heaven to consume the soldiers... Unfortunately though most Christians don't take the teachings of Christ as their final authority but the Bible, so they would quote anything in the Bible to justify their actions or words even if it goes contrary to the teachings of Christ. 1 Like |
