This year, Eid Al Adha falls on June 28, 2023. It is a day to remember the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who was willing to sacrifice his son Ismail (Ishmael) in obedience to Allah. However, Allah spared Ismail and provided a ram as a sacrifice instead.

Eid Al Adha is also a time for charity. Muslims are encouraged to give to those in need, such as by donating money to food banks or charities that support the poor and needy.
