Should I be sincere I am not shocked by what is happening because I have envisaged that this man is going to be a tax man, that's his job he knows how to put everyone on thier toes.
But irrespective of who he is he should bear In mind that majority of Nigerians are impoverished not even poor.
Therefore, any decisions he had made or that he is going to make, he should always considered the masses, and he should stop putting the cat before the horse or vice versa.
Subsidy removal is a good thing but not when you have conc meeting with stakeholders.

how is subsidy "removal" a good thing?

are you enjoying it?

by the way, the NNPC GMD in 2020 said fuel subsidy had been totally removed in 2020. which fuel subsidy did tinubu remove again?

To be fair and honest, things are really hard, there's poverty in the land.

Tinubu should please reverse the subsidy removal for now, it can be done later

He should not treat us this way

This is his direction. It’s sad that you guys will be in another 8 years of pains or even more pains.

They warned you guys but you chose tribalism over common sense.

So if you were to be the president , you would have left Emefiele alone right?

you havent answered my questions

how has he done beyond expectation?

what is Emefieles crime and on what charges has been arrested and kept in detention?

which corruption is he fighting by arresting Emefiele?

if it is corruption he is fighting, how emefiele is the only who was corrupt in the last 8years?

which "security arms" did he put in place that has no rivalry?

how is this an achievement and what the hell does it mean? ...."The security Arms he put in place for the first time have no rivalry , never heard of retiring top officers to bring in a non qualify junior and and have receive a general applaud for him."

which palliative are you expecting as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy?

what do you want to do with palliatives since you are ok with subsidy removal?

the NNPC GMD in 2020 said fuel subsidy had been totally removed in 2020. which fuel subsidy did tinubu remove again?

what type of english grammar is this? ..."this lead to immidiate dissolving of the rotted boards of chairmen in the ministries and parastatals which could have cripple his efforts if he try to do contrarily to the corruption they install in the organization."

His first actions showed he's greatly inconsiderate and not in tune with the realities in Nigeria.

A player's first touch is always very important and gives an inkling about how he's going to handle the ball going forward.

There's nothing to expect from him

He has done reasonably well. For those of us in Lagos, who have now associated with those who voted for him, we buy fuel 150 naira. Where we buy foodstuffs is different from where regular people buy theirs. Those who opposed him are the only ones suffering. For those of us who didn't support him but have aligned with him, and are enjoying now, we are pleading that even the 150 naira we buy fuel be reduced to 100 naira and that the 50 naira be added to those who don't like him, so that they would be buying at 548 naira per litre.

I will rate him 3/10. I'm even generous.

in what way?
1. subsidy removal: he showed fearless decision making (wether the outcome is good or bad we shall see)

2. Key Appointments: I think the personnel are good quality Appointments

3. Harmony: He was able to maintain some Harmony in the National Assembly

4. Leadership posture: the country feels like I has a leader now not on autopilot.

5 hope: I think there is some bit of hope now in the future ( it remains to be seen)

Today makes it exactly one month since Bola Ahmed Tinubu was sworn in as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Since he took the oath of office, the president has made some tough calls and decisions. He has also made some appointments.

One month later, how has he performed so far?

He has been terrible so far!
All the positive ratings are media hype!

Nigerians are much poorer now because of the reckless increase in fuel price and floating of the naira which now sells above N750 to USD

If they have allowed GEJ to remove subsidy in 2012 by now we should be looking at N300 NNPC price.

Do you know the weird thing about Nigerians? The suffering they endured under Buhari and they are willing to endure BAT they won't endure it under GEJ or any Igbo man as President. A lot of people enjoyed under GEJ yet they tagged him an Igbo man and cursed the hell out of him. As if na Igbo man spoil Nigeria.

The arrest of CBN governor is a big one towards fighting corruption in Nigeria. By so doing the can of warm is now open, Dss have taken in others inluding EFCC boss, the former NSA name is now coming up.

The security Arms he put in place for the first time have no rivalry , never heard of retiring top officers to bring in a non qualify junior and and have receive a general applaud for him.

The truth is that if Obi were to be the one that remove the fuel subsidy which he said he will if elected, there could have been a total revolution or protest atleast but he successfully have ended it without much alarcrity even though we are expecting parliative including June salary that have not yet been paid even in the difficulties and Salah.

He was able to detect sharp practices and corruption in the IPPIS including salary padding in no time, this lead to immidiate dissolving of the rotted boards of chairmen in the ministries and parastatals which could have cripple his efforts if he try to do contrarily to the corruption they install in the organization.

Their is little or no attempt to influence the legislations obviously so far and other arms of government.

He was hasty to remove subsidy without proper thought

He was quick to remove his political enemies, Emefiele and Bawa and the ones he doubts their loyalty - service chiefs.

He is quick to introduce multiple taxes.

He was quick to fund a strong PR machine.

Overall 10/100.

I score Buhari 20/100

You appraise a government based on their ability to make life better for the people more than the way they met them. All these things you are typing here is mere sycophantic expression.

Ask yourself how your life has been better off more than the way Tinubu met it. The funny thing is that nothing is going to soften the present hardship in the land.

I don't know why people like you don't learn nor understand but you claim to be a patriot more than anyone else. How was the last palliative during the COVID period? Keep talking nonsense there and remaining small. Keep praising Tinubu because he's your kinsman.

. He should have postponed the removal of subsidy to January 1 2024.
He should have used the time now to prepare ground for it.
There is more hardship in the land now.
Masses suffer more now!

Don't even mention fighting corruption oo

Let's just forget about corruption and focus on the the way to move the country forward

Tinubu is corruption himself, he can't fight corruption, he can't. The process that brought him in is openly corrupt. So leave corruption.

Let him just focus and work

All what this new government have done so far is to impoverish more Nigerians but it's yet to be clear to us because of our tribalism mindset.

If this government want to be sincere with Nigerians, Tinubu government would have started by cutting down the cost of governance even before fuel removal. Merge some ministries, and increase the minimum wage as a palliative to reduce the hardship on the masses before fuel subsidy removal.

None of this was done to help nigerians. He remove subsidy, increase cost of governance, introduced student loan( tertiary tuition fees will automatically goes up), stopped professors funding(research) increase vat on what will benefit common man, and some foolish people are still hailing him. Weldone ooo

I would judge him as fair, until I see:

1. the roll out of buses across major cities and states to ease transportation costs of commuters whose income and savings are being wiped out by the inflation caused by the removal of fuel and dollar subsidies.

2. Significant crushing of the terrorists and bandits that are preventing farmers (from farming), and thereby contributing to food inflation and hardship.

3. Commencement of the Dangote supply of fuel to stimulate the local economy. So far what has happened is a situation where the marketers given importation licenses are trying to push prices up with a view to form a cartel with Dangote and other local refiners. This is why they are currently pushing the N700 per liter narrative to form a kind of “coopetition” the opposite of the competition that is intended to drive down the price of PMS. Very dangerous development indeed.

These 3 items if already significantly addressed would have seen my scoring this administration very high- minimum 70%!

The actions so far is what has earned them an average score, we need results especially these low hanging fruits listed above to move them into a good score.
