Kids obviously need adult parents for nurturing. Adults also need adults for the purposes of procreation or/and romantic companionship.

Procreation cannot happen without the anatomical and physiological properties of the two opposite sexes. Romantic companionship should not happen between same sexes unless something is mentally wrong. And this is where I stand. Mental problems should be treated not validated with laws. I whacked the weree in the face with the TV remote nearest to me, shoved him and sharply made my way out. That was the last time I ever saw him or even went to the church. Cos I couldn't just stand to see him in the same church again. The tin was so shocking that I confided in one of the guys wey close to both of us, na those ones come dey clear me say, e don tey, no be today.

Jesus forgave a criminal and promise him paradise, does that mean criminality is ok?

Jesus was never open and tolerant to sin, he only offered an alternative life to sinners, he said to the adulterous woman "go and sin no more" meaning Jesus recognized she sinned but offered her another chance.

Jesus hung out with sinners to convert them; to reconcile them with God. And we read how a number of them became great in the Kingdom of God.

That was His goal for hanging out with sinners. Not to affirm them; tell them they were doing OK, or to encourage their lifestyle.

And that is His expectation of Christians; if you are hanging out with sinners, to lead them to Christ.

Apostle Paul even went far to say that if you are doing (not wrong) would cause a more sensitive brother's faith to fail, don't do it.

Even Jude in verse 22 said: You must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.

Jesus Christ in John 17 prayed earnestly for the unity of Christians worldwide; the Apostles emphasised on the different gifts that the Holy Spirit gave believers to edify and uplift each other in the Church. Paul said the gift of prophecy is better than speaking in tongues because prophecy edifies the Church. Ephesians 4: 2 - 6 says
2: Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love.

3: Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

4: For there is one body (all believers form the body of Christ aka the Church) and one Spirit, just as you (all believers) have been called for one glorious hope for the future.

5: There is one Lord, onw faith, one baptism

6: and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and through all.

We can't fight for God, that wasn’t the model Jesus gave us. He only fought principalities and powers with the Scriptures and power of the Holy Spirit.

Like Paul said in 2 Cor 10: 3 - 6
3: We are humans, but we do not wage war as humans do.
4: We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strong hold of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.
5: We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.
6: And after you have become fully obedient, we would punish anyone who remains disobedient.

There is only one Jesus in the Bible and His expectations are 💯 clear.

As a believer in Christ Jesus who just came to an awakening knowledge for myself that God is not joking about these things you've said and there is no place for compromising believers in heaven and some believers will be left behind in the tribulation.......

I stand with this, I have also repented of my own compromising attitudes/lifestyle and will continue to do so, imbibing a life long attitude of repentance (especially after hearing Brandon's testimony) because I don't want to be caught up in the tribulation. I had same awakening in 2017 through one of Matt Walsh's articles (I created a thread on it). I realised that one leg in (or live as you like) really as no place in Christianity.

Apostle John also warned consistently that friendship with the world is enmity with GOD. You cannot have the world's approval and have that of God. Even Jesus said the world hated Him and would hate us too. It is a given.

His commandment is that you don’t judge.

So keep your judgment to yourself and live your own life devoid of harassing LGBTQ people. All these things you guys are doing in the name of standing up for your faith is harassment. If someone approaches you to convert you to their side and you say no and they persist then you can rightfully claim you’re fighting whatever battle. As far as they are not asking you to become them, they just want rights in the society same as everyone else, then what you’re doing is harassment. No amount of Bible verses makes it not harassment.
