Do you know that the federal government of Nigeria can reposition the national courier company and use it to generate thousands of jobs for the youths and generate a lot of billions of naira as it’s been done in many countries around the world.

This is a multi million naira revenue generating agency and also great job opportunities for Nigerians.

Rebranding or repositioning the national courier service will not in any way block the existing private courier companies considering the untapped potentials in our population.

We should also imbibe the practice of sending letters/packages using the National courier company.
Establishments, companies should also be using it to send official documents to their respective customers across the country as it’s been done in other countries.

A lot of companies can even send through Nipost commercial magazines, journals to different homes.

The young ones should also learn how to send letters to their friends and family members through the national courier instead of using texts and emails.

If only we know how much income is being generated by the likes of UPS, DHL, FEDEX, USPS, etc in the courier industry.

It’s time to make things work and create better job opportunities for Nigerians.

That was years ago when I was dating Jacline. When stamp was 2 Naira and envelope was 50kobo.

Days of "If so, doxology"
Days when ladies still read love and birthday cards and not shawarma and ice cream.

NIPOST of blessed memories!

True that...but the FG is clueless. Once private organisations of their friends or relatives are open for business, they'll begin to make public options epileptic to accommodate the new normal to attract patronage. Or they are simple just clueless.

Clueless? Nepotism/quota system killed all federal establishments

It’s really pathetic that we decided not to make things work in this country.
Even civil servants are worse

Is it always funny to hear that there is economic recession in Africa, given all the economic and developmental opportunities that are waiting to be tapped into.

There is no government in Nigeria to make the country work. What you have are a bunch of extremely greedy individuals stealing all the resources that should have been used to develop the country.

They rob themselves of what they have in the name of becoming foolishly wealthy forgetting that fools can never be rich. Regardless of how hard they try.

NIPOST is just slowly slipping away like the NITEL and NEPA of old.
Totally inefficient and clueless in it's duties and responsibilities.
They tamper with packages and steal valuables with little or no repercussions to their staff or corporate image.
No responsibilie organization will send any sensitive or valuable documents with NIPOST.
Their service delivery is extremely poor and customer service?? Virtually non-existent..
Multiple partnership with other private delivery companies over the years failed due to their meddlesome and often frustrating work ethics.
NIPOST should be dissolved into regional bodies and let them be privatized. It has outlived it's usefulness.
