Some elements of the Niger Delta have grown from people fighting for their stomach to really ambitious set of people threatening Peace loving people. They seem to have a core enemy in the Igbo Nation and the Nigerian armed forces especially the Navy. It all started with a people who came together to fight for their regional oppression giving rise to militancy, at that time everyone seem to understand their plights but lately they have been so well fed they resort to indiscriminately attacking perceived enemies with the weapons they frequently brandish in broad day light. Asari Dokubo's constant threat have been recieved with a cold silence from Igbo Youth especially the deadly and intelligent ones as he pose no real threat to the Igbo Nation as an entity but could constitute a dangerous scenario in a small scale to unsuspecting civilians and non-combatants. While largely unfettered by any threat coming from any single or collections of Nationalities or individuals as our parents where able to face the whole of Nigeria during the Biafran war, the Nigerian military is raising the confidence of the Igbos not to resort to self help and possibly activate a read sea somewhere. The weapons mop up is really a step in the right direction and I really count on the new armed forces leadership especially the Navy to ensure that our creeks and waterways are safe. 2 Likes |

Nobody is threatening anybody! Nobody can threaten anybody! This kinda propaganda is really of no use! The only threat was from the LASG to Alaba International Market. But that has been addressed by Sawolu And Uzudimma! As for Obi mandate, the court will decide and when that happens, we move on with whatever the outcome might be either reclaimed and denied...we move!
