When it comes to military training, it’s almost brutal everywhere on earth..

I watched a video clip of USA training their Soldiers! Omo, I open mouth!

Some soldiers do die during training self..

You are not far from the truth, my friend who's in US army also sent me some videos and pictures of their drilling, but truth be told, you will fall in love with it...

The only difference in Nigeria 🇳🇬 army is because they over do it...

Im glad you grew up in zaria. Well, everything in this life is based on choice. Most parents that sent their children to NMS is choice while most that dashed away from NMS is still choice. I know so many people that after NMS and just 5 years in Unit, they never returned while some continued with army work while some fot admitted into Academy. Everything is based on choice and not the training that you think it's brutal. It's just good to have a military experience because it will help me scale a lot of things in life. By the way 2013 NA should be 70RI because 2013 NA has two batch
Are u sure 13 na is 70ri

They die from the tough training, not from being maltreated by their trainers

This is false.

As a drill instructor in the US Military, you cannot physically abuse anyone. Physical training like runs and push-ups are different from punishments. No one is forced to do anything against his will in training.

If you can't meet the physical requirements you'll be disqualified. Stressing one beyond what he/she can take or directly hitting someone is abuse and not training.
Is it everything you do see?

Have you been with them while training?

I tell you again - some commanders can be mean! No need to argue! You’ll come by what I’m saying someday..

What's the difference in training of soldiers(private) and officers(lieutenant)?
I noticed officers still get sense pass soldiers.

Is it that officers' training is more lenient?
Meanwhile, officers train longer(9 months) than soldiers(6 months) in the army .

You will never see a us soldier using sticks or pipe to beat recruit
They are just drills that can aid your survival in war zone or drills that can save you when you all alone....
I watched a US marine bring down 4 guys who attacked him after hitting his car in lagos
Now can your average Nigerian soldiers do that ?

This your question, I think we need to run a hypothesis to be able to know..

Kindly organize 3 of your friends, including you making 4. Attack any lone Nigeria soldier and let see if he will be able to bring you guys down or not.. grin

That’s the best way for us to be able to know - thanksfully, you claimed you saw it. Let us also see it grin

You're right.

They call something "smoking". It a series of punishment. They won't hit you o, but body go tell you when you're done. Recruits will literally be crying grin

We're talking of physical abuse.

An O rank cannot even touch an E rank in the US army unless you want to face court martial.

At worst you can be placed in detention or on duty. If it is during training, you restart training from the beginning or do push-ups. If you break down, you'll be dropped.

Telling someone to clean all base toilets or take two shifts is better and more productive than beating someone.

My friend joined us army skinny
But after training he was well built and thick....
The Nigerian army training need to be fixed
They should give drills that will build your body and not beating people like animals....
They should give endurance training and not drying people inside the sun.

This is why it is so difficult for them to win asymmetric wars......they are trained to brutalized, cork and shoot.

No good common sense endurance training.

Im also an ex commando (cdssi) odogbo
I was suppose to join the military by enrolling in NDA but my waec was really bad that year
Most of my colleagues joined then
Some went through NDA while the rest joined through recruitment
After doing my GCE Boko Haram have started dealing with the soldiers really much
I lost some close friends which made me decided not to join again
A lot of soldiers in wanted me and my set to join the military cos we later became really close to some of the soldiers but Im not joining again age isn't on my side anymore and I don't have that passion again

I'm also an ex commando at odogbo. grin. Some people joined true true, but, I as a person, wetin my eye see for command was enough. 😁

There's a big difference between training someone for strength, agility or endurance.
And just straight torture and brutalization.

Every Nigeria military own training is the latter, just straight torture, very barbaric and backward
