There really isn't any such thing as praying in tongues.

God's formulae as far as prayer is concerned is quite simple. God does not answer the prayers of the unrighteous but God answers all of the prayers of those who have been deemed righteous by Him.

Some of those who teach the idea of praying in tongues suppose it possible to circumvent God's very decree by way of this ritual they profess but there is no proof to support their claims as proof of such would suggest God a liar, something even those who preach these ideas shy away from openly proclaiming as their stance.

2. The speaking in tongues is the speaking of an unlearned language by the spirit born inside of a person at the time when one becomes born-again. The spirit does the speaking, singing, etc., not the individual in whom He lives inside of. The whole experience is outside of the control of the individual and reason why Jesus Christ stated it was a sign to follow those who believe in Him.

Better still read the Bible prayerfully.

2. God absolutely does not answer the prayers of the unrighteous, so prayers will not be answered by Him until you are first righteous. To gain understanding, Rather, Jesus Christ taught that it is when you use the understanding you have that more will be given to you. So if more understanding is what you seek, begin putting to use what you already know that He said.

I have always believed you need urgent medical attention.

He should have asked for clarification.

2. You want us to believe that you advise God on whose prayers to answer. Even if a snnner, being a sinner asked for forgiveness, He would not answer.

3. If God does not answer your own prayers for a reason best known to Him and you.

If God does not answer your own prayers, no problem, He answers mine and will still answer others.

There is nothing called praying in tongues!

Prayer is talking to someone in the spirit realm so when you pray you're talking to someone in the spirit realms and you believe you will be heard for your godly devotion {Hebrews 5:7} speaking in tongues is like passing out a message using another language that's not the one you speak often so there's no sense in going to meet someone who knew you very well that you're ibo only for you to get there and start speaking french.

Yes it's in the book of acts and also in Paul's letters.

The one I love best is when Paul/Timothy says though I speak in the tongues of men and angels but have not loved it is nothing.

But know this brotherly, tongues is only possible with the holy spirit. There is no learning of tongues it's a gift from the holy spirit

Tongues means languages and you know language is connected to your spirit. So you see that even though people are now speaking english, when the prayer is hot, they naturally sink into their native tongues to express themselves. That is what praying in tongues means.
