According to seun's comments which I screenshot below, he said that the government are responsible for what is happening in the East!!!

That the government should be blamed for the current insecurity in the South East.

Kai Jama'a....

What has the federal government not done to fight Ipob/ESN at their Early stage, especially their arm carrying stage?

Rather, the people defend these gunmen and refer to them as their protectors and freedom fighters...

These guys come online to defend these guys when they attack government facilities without any of them getting banned on nairaland. We see them on a daily...

These guys get celebrated and applauded by their people when parading on the streets!!

Easterners made us understand that they feel more safer seeing those ESN than when they see Nigeria security agencies!!

If we talk about the danger of allowing unconventional security personnels to carry sophisticated arms... They say we should mind our business and allow that east to defend their region.

Now the result is playing out...

All you seun osewa Nairaland CEO could say was that " the government is responsible for allowing it happen"

This forum was used to castigate Buhari for years, just because he was cracking down on those terrorist!!

This same forum was used to castigate all the Igbo politician that refused to support Ipob/ESN or openly criticize them...

Seun can you elaborate on this comment you made? What do you mean by the " government is responsible " the federal government or the Eastern state governors?

Seun I understand that Nairaland is your hustling point... And you're trying to protect and also market your forum and also trying hard not to offend the Easterners who constitute at least 30% of nairaland users...

But does what you said really make any sense to you??

I have never seen a northerner supporting bandits or bokoharam rather, northerners form vigilante groups and civilian JTF, which collaborate with security agencies in fighting banditry and terrorism. We condemn and fight them. We don't defend them or give any excuse on their behalf.

And as you can see bokoharam is now a past tense and banditry is gradually fading away

That would have worsen the situation. They kept low in Rivers state cos they are not that strong.

That should have been the responsibility of their elders and their political leaders. How can some few disgruntled kids be locking millions of people at home?

Why are you playing politics with the security situation inthe north ?
Why exactly are you playing politics with the security of this nation ?

It's disgusting how you all try to sweep under the carpet big security concerns just for political cheap points.
