I contacted them and they said that they are reviewing my account and I should exercise some patience while they sort things out. One week later, I contacted them again through email but they didn't respond, so i sent them message on Twitter requesting for clarification on why my account is still restricted. They responded that I should come to their office at Sabo, Lagos with means of identification and a proof of house address for biometrics so that the issue could be resolved. I protested with many reasons on why it is inconvenient for me to come all the way to Lagos from Abia State which is where I reside. They didn't budge, they said I must come to their office in Lagos for the issue to be resolved. But I was advised by friends and colleagues not to go as I would likely be arrested if I step a foot into their office. I decided to contact a lawyer and the lawyer visited their office but they refused to divulge the true reason for the restriction to him. A colleague of him who works with Kuda confided in him that the restriction could be a directive from EFCC. Please Nairalanders, I need help, people here who have experience in such cases should please advise me on what steps to take to retrieve my hard earned money from Kuda bank. P.S I mostly use the Kuda bank account to trade on Binance P2P

Thanks for your response, I have nothing to fear about my transactions on that account, but you know how Nigerian forces behave, guilty until proven innocent instead of the other way round. I wouldn't want to be arrested and detained for no reason. Had it been I'm told the reason for the restriction, then I will know what to expect.

Did some big amount entered the account of recent? If yes as I believe, where did the money come from, is it from you or someone? And is the money legit?

If you can't answer these questions then you might have to do it the Tinubu way in Chicago.

You must produce that your friend that gave you a hint not to show up, he's a saboteur to the company... If you don't have anything to hide, show up and sort out the issues.

I'm not a kidnapper, I stated what I do in the main post. Now, the reason I am sceptical about going is because of how things work in Nigeria especially when you have no one to defend you. I can be arrested, detained, seriously beaten or injured before I can be given chance to prove my innocence if at all I will be given the chance.

this is very clearly something to do with binance P2P. Maybe someone you sent money to or have been doing transactions with on binance is a wanted scammer so they are trying to link you

No doubt about it, it shows there are dubious transactions they want to clarify.
Kuda doesn't just ask people to visit them at their headquarter if it's not important.
My advice: Go with your lawyer and most importantly don't go on Friday.

Big amount depends comparatively with what has been coming in before but most especially the source of the found matters most.
If someone had complained about a transaction traced to your account which I believe its the case then they are likely to seize the money and might hand you over if you appear in person!

How much is in the account? is it Negligible? I will suggest that you let it be. That's how a friend of mine was arrested for trading on Paxful, a female for that matter, they restricted here account and told her to come for KYC.
In the end she paid with her throat because a buyer bought USDT by paying with a 3rd party. It was a stolen phone and the victim's account. she paid about 300k as far back as 2017.
You can visit them with your lawyer and pls dont go on friday. My friend was detained for 3 days for accepting a 3rd party transaction.
