Job Title: Hotel Internal Auditor

Location: Owerri, Nigeria

Job Description:

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of the risk management, control, and governance processes in our four-star hotel. The Internal Auditor will also identify and evaluate risks to the hotel's operations and financial reporting, and recommend improvements to mitigate those risks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments and audits of the hotel's financial, operational, and compliance controls
• Develop, implement, and monitor the hotel's internal control systems
• Investigate allegations of fraud or other irregularities
• Report on the results of audits and investigations to management and the board of directors
• Make recommendations for improving the hotel's risk management, control, and governance processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing
• ACA certification is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
