Student life no easy at all, especially when you dey fend for yourself, I've been finding it difficult to cope so I finally decided to find a steady work cause rent will soon expire, one that would not clash with my studies, I saw one last month, a pos operator for one guy like that, from 3pm to 9pm, the guy owns many outlets, salary is 15k per month, I started last month.
Yesterday evening around 8, I was with a friend, she came there because we were supposed to go to awoko together so I would round up, drop my stuff, she would escort me home to change and from there go to school, a bike stopped carrying 2 guys, he didn't put off the engine and none came down, the one at the back told me he wanted to withdraw 10k, he would transfer to me and I give him cash, I gave him the account and he pressed his phone and showed me a receipt that it was successful
I checked my phone but no alert I told him to wait until I receive the alert, he was suddenly infuriated and started ranting that I was wasting his time, that do I think he wanted to scam him and all that, saying he has been debited, I insisted on seeing the alert first, the other 2 including the driver added mouth, they began threatening me that it was late and they had a long way to go, the driver even said anything go make me off this bike you go regret am.. I was still adamant, it was at this point my friend pulled me and told me these guys were robbers or cultists, omo fear just catch me, I didn't reason it before so I was actually arguing with them, I became scared for my life I dipped hand inside bag and gave them the 10k, they sped off immediately, through out yesterday to this morning I kept checking my phone praying to God hoping for a miracle to see the 10k alert that never came, my boss called me this morning and when I went, he questioned me about the missing money and I told him what happened, he laughed and told me that wasn't robbery that I was just tricked and I should be wiser next time so will deduct it from my salary, so my first pay would be 5k, I just dey depressed since, 5k for a whole month, only God will help me
