I think it boils down to two factors. On the one hand, the natural calling of a woman which her feminity points to, and the core of that natural calling is motherhood and family life. Even the most craziest of feminists still craze motherhood or are part-time or full-time mothers. Hence women bred men, men build the world.

Then on the other hand is a flawed notion that men must be the providers all the time, what we may call entitlement mentality.
