Labour Party Demands Sack Of INEC Chairman As Conditions For A Rerun by ganisucks(f): 5:16pm On Jul 13, 2023
The Labour Party Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organisation has demanded unequivocally, the immediate dismissal from office and prosecution of Prof Yakubu Mahmood, INEC Chairman, and Festus Okoye, INEC Federal Commissioner in charge of voter education following the final reports of the Nigerian Civil Society Situation Room and the International Community regarding the desecration of the presidential election of 25th February, 2023.

They consequently called for a forensic financial investigation of the billions of naira disbursed and donated to INEC by the government and the international community, who are called upon to sanction these erring officers for wasting their funds and criminally compromising the presidential election to announce their preferred candidate.

They came to this conclusion because INEC spent billions of tax payers money on the pretext of deploying the BVAS and other technological innovations needed for electronic storage and transmission of election results, but intentionally bypassed these noble inventions during the election in order to manipulate the election and is dubiously turning around to attempt to suggest that manual collation of results may suffice, which will render all our technological improvements in our elections useless.

They asserted that if Adamawa REC can be prosecuted, Mahmood and Okoye should face worse fate because they committed greater crimes.

Kikiki... 😆😅🤣😂

Before anybody even mentioned the word rerun, I was the first person to say on Nairaland that APC internal memo had told NEC and NWC that a rerun was the only way out for Tinubu. But if you like listen to SWAGA FC who are clueless. Them go carry you miss road.
Because of a rerun possibility, Baba don borrow 500 billion naira. Also why he invited ex governors thief thief class of 99. Baba don almost fall yakata for inside the trap.

Well said but no need for any useless rerun.Peter Obi - Yusuf Datti won the 2023 presidential election but were swabbed for some criminal mandate holders.
Their spectacular wins in Abuja, Lagos, Rivers, Plateau, the contentious Nassarawa, Niger, Enugu, among many are pointers.

Seems the top fellas include INEC under estimate the anger, anguish, frustration and voter apathy they have created. People have intensified the urge to japa as a result of this shitty issue. Now those not able to do so are facing the cruel reality some wicked ethno-politico-religious supremacists have forced on them. You think it will be well with you if guilty?

Karma is gonna visit all who wrought this evil upon this nation. They will never escape it. The cries, curses and prayers of the beleaguered Nigerians is gonna hunt all of them.

If Nigeria were a civilised, nation, these two fundamental issues affecting our national cohesion, political and democratic journey ought to have been avoided and promptly addressed before the outgoing regime phased out.

However, being the operators of the institutionalised structure of corruption, and criminality, they behave as if this nation have not undergone any retrogression political wise

Rerun of what?

With what money?
The southeast is of no economic value to even contribute 1% of the bills required.

The southeast is a parasitic region.

Kenneth should declare his tax returns in comparison to the assets he owns.

Nobody is going to come out for any rerun.
That's handing over everything to tinubu 100%.

Instead of rerun, allow him to continue. Makes no sense

Is Obi been bribing the tribunai judges to have them order a rerun?. How can someone who is before a court preempt the judgement of the tribunal if he is not bribing his way. The 3rd class olodo doesn't know that "if at all", a rerun is between the 1st and 2nd, either ways, he loses once again. The tribunal will uphold Tinubu's victory and the losers will continue their wailings.

This is a great move.

Also, what can be done to check overnight change of results ? What measures can be taken ? Because I don't trust INEC to conduct a free and fair rerun.

There will not be any rerun. And if there would, it will definitely going to be between Atiku and Tinubu.

Obi didn't satisfy any condition to qualify him for a rerun.
