Palliatives: 'What Tinubu Should Do Instead Of Sharing Money' - Iamgrey5 by iSense247: 7:39pm On Jul 13, 2023 |
It is unfortunate that Nigeria lacks politicians who are deep thinkers. They have unlimited human and natural resources but do not have the mentality capacity to manage them. I wish some of them can be coming to Nairaland to read common sense. Here are alternatives to money sharing as suggested by Iamgrey5. Iamgrey5: In addition, I wish president Tinubu can use part of the money to buy one tractor for each local governments in Nigeria. Let farmers associations not politicians be in charge of the tractor. This will go a long way in improving agricultural productivity within six months. 8 Likes |

Tinubu has no solid plans for the betterment of Nigerians. All his actions and programs are just to enrich himself and his goons. 9 Likes |

There's no palliative for Nigerians anywhere, the house of reps approved 500billion for politicians to share that's all. 3 Likes |

Zonefree:Yes. When I was into farming, the whole of my town with two local governments (Ede South & Ede North) was using only one tractor. It was not enough but manageable. Half bread is better than none. I don't even think they have any tractor now. 2 Likes |

There is no palliative anywhere they just want to get money to bribe judges and use the remaining one to cover the money they spent before and during election. |

There are more innovative ways Nigeria goverment can share palliatives if they truly want to help Nigerians and also initiate a process for sustainable development and growth. Simply throwing the money we don't have at our problems have never helped Nigerians. Jonathan with Amnesty program for the Niger delta simply made millionaires out of a few people. Majority of the youths in Niger delta got nothing. Buhari came with school feeding programs and cash palliatives for the "poor of the poor". We all know how that ended. The money In question will be looted from the House of representatives that approved the budget to the ministry in charge all the way down to those responsible for sharing it to individuals at each local government councils. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Let him share the money to each individual, there's nothing we will do that will benefit us so share 💸 oo |

Reduce tax burden on local businesses, provide stable electricity for businesses & SMes to thrive, efficient and low cost transport services, set up vocational and skill training centres that run throughout the year - these are the palliatives that will have direct impact on the common man. 1 Like |

The method adopted by PBAT which was formally adopted by PMB is a way to enrich few politician pocket, we're against it even as his ardent supporters. This Administration should rather venture the money into Agriculture. Youths are ever ready so far there's modern tools to practice 1 Like |

The corruption heaven called Nigerian civil service is not ripe to implement a social intervention program that will involve sharing money. Even if Nelson Mandela was in charge of the ministry, 70% of funds will still end up in private pockets. 1 Like |

IconicR:Tinubu may not need anybody's money but what about his men? Jonathan and Buhari might not have stolen a dime but you know how their family and appointees bankrupt Nigeria through CBN, NNPC, NPA, FIRS, etc. Sadiya would rob us and still rub it on our faces because she was above the law. She is even worse than Allison Madueke. 1 Like |

Nigeria lacks creative leaders. That's why we are where are. Leadership is tough - I cannot empathize this enough. Many of those governors we claim are doing well are just so because they happen to govern rich states. Take them to poor states and watch them become so clueless and unpopular. By the way, the kind of ministers Tinubu will bring will determine whether he's coming to fix the country or recoup the money he used to buy the election. If he fills the ministerial slots with politicians, your guess is as good as mine. 1 Like |

Xxxxtentacion2:It's too early to start faulting Tinubu, even though you don't like him which is your right at least cut him some slack. I wonder why you think people liking tinubu are being paid while obi supporters are genuine. You like obi is the same way others like and believe in Tinubu, the problem is you all having issues with people who like and believe Tinubu. Tinubu was one of the best governor Nigeria ever had, he's not perfect but he's excellent with governance |

iSense247: Very thoughtful. But the likes of Specialadvicer can't be patient enough for this. Obi would have since transformed Nigeria on May 29. There is a button he will just press and instantly, within a second there will be no more poverty in Nigeria, no more insecurity of any kind. All of Nigeria's challenges would have disappeared since the day of inauguration. That's why obedients are always critisizing Tinubu. Obi would have solved all of Nigeria's problems by now. 1 Like 1 Share |
