Even in this very difficult economic times, the Federal Government is yet to pay June salary to thousands of Federal government workers across many MDAs. The civil servants have started a hashtag #ENDIPPIS.
IPPIS is the platform the Federal government uses to pay salaries to federal government workers. IPPIS has been claiming to have paid out the salaries, the banks are denying those claims. The Federal government workers are caught in the middle. Many have stopped showing up to work because they can't afford to.
