PS:

cool
$100 + $70 + $30= $200.
The store lost $200.

May we not run at a loss.

Did you factor in the $70 the store got in merchandise?
The man bought the merchandise with the $100 he stole. The store is only out of $70 merchandise and $30 cash which totals $100.
The store lost $100

The question asked is how much MONEY did the store lose? Note, the goods he bought is not money directly ooo, but when valued, it worth $70

Therefore, based on the question asked the answer is $30.

Why? The $70 goods he bought in that same store is not money but goods that worth 70.

But if the question said how much value of money did the store lose plus the value of goods?? Then the answer should be considered as 100. grin

Na wtin me c based on the question b that oo

100 dollars.
Re: Many Will Fail This, How Much Did The Store Lose? by Magnificenttop: 8:03am On Jul 15, 2023
It is still hundred dolls loss, dawg.

To make it easy for dummies to understand. Here's it simpler put: The black man left home with nothing but went back home with $70 grocery and $30 cash, totalling $100 gain with him back home.
His total $100 gain back home is the total $100 loss of the store, nothing more, nothing less. Every other detail is just distraction.

Now, the question is, why always a black man? Why not a woman?
Why are men always the subjects of vicious depictions? Especially black men.

The man stole $100 from the register.

- $100

He then gives back $100 to the owner when he paid for the goods.

0

But the owner lost $70 worth of goods.

-$70

The owner also lost $30 worth of cash when he gave the man change.

-$30

Total loss $70 goods + $30 change = $100

The store lost $100 same as the money stolen.
The principal $100 stolen was used to exchanged the store's product and change given $30.
The money was recycled.

100+100=200. That's a double loss.
1. He stole 100 Bucks from the safe.
2. He used the same stolen money to buy groceries of 70 Bucks from the store instead of using his own money. He was given 30 Bucks as change.
Do the math!

Like I said, this is debatable.
The store owner could have said give me the 100 Bucks you stole, now pay 70 Bucks for what you bought. The thief gives him 100$ Bill and the store owner gives him 30$ change.
On this premise, I can argue that the store lost 170 Bucks.
