And if eventually one is picked outta many qualified applicants, it doesn't necessarily mean it was destiny. It could be that the selected pull through some of the variables the organization has setup to test their potential employee.

Hence things happen by design and careful planning and not by destiny. There is no such thing as what will be will be. Without the required pre-requisites, it's definitely gon be a forever wait

I think it's a statement of resignation, there are many vagaries of life that you can neither anticipate nor mitigate so you have no choice but to accept that they happen and move on.

What will be will not just be. No cause, no effect!
