In their argument, they believe Peter Obi would have done exactly the same thing Tinubu is currently doing or even worse. In their minds, they think there is no alternate way of doing things that will ease the excruciating suffering of Nigeria citizens. To them, hardship equates good governance.

This is despite the fact that Obi has made it public on his social media handles and manifesto his systematic and pragmatic method of removing subsidy. For instance, how can you remove subsidy without first fighting the endemic corruption in oil sector. We are not supposed to be paying up to #400 even without subsidy.

BATists are of the opinion that Buhari's plan to totally remove subsidy without palliatives is unreviewable and unchangeable. Tinubu must continue with every unfriendly policy he inherited from Buhari not matter the wailing from the masses. According to them, no other options available.

What can make human beings reason this way?
