In a thead that made front page today IPMAN said Nigerians are buying the cheapest fuel in African which was a blatant lie from the pit of hell.

Here is the thread:

https://www.nairaland.com/7772126/nigeria-still-cheapest-fuel-price

But after a simply Google research it was yet another lie from the APC Government, when they tell you things please go online and verify.

In Ghana, fuel is sold for 13.23 Cedis, which is about N487 per litre.

In the Niger Republic, fuel is sold for 540 West African CFA Franc, which converts to N413.10.

In Chad, fuel is sold for an average price of 518 West African CFA Franc which is N396.27 per litre.

In the Benin Republic, fuel is sold for 650 West African CFA Franc, which is N497.25 per litre.

In Cameroon, fuel is sold for 630 Central African CFA Franc, which converts to N481.94 per litre.

If he is a well known APC slave, you have become a well known liar who wants to create chaos and anarchy.

You are quoting a report from 6 months ago as your basis for creating anarchy in the country?

Was Nigeria selling fuel at N600 6 months ago?

Do you know how much it now cost in Ghana or any of the countries you copied carte blanche from your outdated source?

Do you think the conversion rates remain the same?

I work in the Oil industry and I will soon give you a complete and current conversion rate against the US Dollars for all the currencies you listed.

I will leave you to do better research on what the current cost price itself is in those respective countries.

I pasted a link for you to verify. Go and verify and stop the senselessness.

Compare today's exchange rate to the lies the APC Government lied about today and see if Nigeria's fuel is the cheapest.

Cheap and useless propaganda can't save you guys, sane and intelligent Nigerians will always burst your lies.

If today's naira is weaker than the dollar six months ago what does that tell you? Now compare that with the current price, common sense is indeed not common.

11.59 cedis is equivalent to 1 dollar.

Divide 13 cedis by 11.59. What you get is 1.12 dollars

1.12 dollars multiple by 800 naira is equivalent to 896 naira.

Why do you like lying like this?

As at today which is the weakest between the two currencies? The naira of course now the APC Government is making it look like Nigeria's fuel is cheaper neglecting the policy that made the naira weaker to sound as if all is well.

Dont you get the point?

Ghana Cedis is about 11.5 to $1.

And you say fuel was sold as at 6months ago for 13.23 Cedis which is about $1.20.

What is $1.20 in Naira at official rate of 774?

N929

Is fuel in Nigeria up to N929 which is what it would be if buying fuel in Ghana with our Naira?

Besides, your pricing information is from 6months ago when Nigerian fuel was around N200.

Who is to say if fuel in Ghana is still 13.23 Cedis?

The information online is that it is averagely now trading for 14.5 Cedis, as it continues to fluctuate just like Nigeria's.

This is the problem that you have that I have highlighted, for which you seek to create anarchy with lies and outdated information.

If it was not an APC government, you would be OK with things as they are now, claiming we should sacrifice for a new Nigeria.

That 460 naira was a mirage. CBN spent 17 Billion dollars defending it in 2022.

I have already compared the current prices.

Ghana fuel at average of 14.5 Cedis at current dollar value of $1.26.

Nigeria fuel at unstable N620 which can easily go back to N510, is at dollar value of $0.80.

Shame no dey catch some people self, see as they are comparing an oil producing country to Ghana of yesterday. Please try comparing oil producing countries and also get the rate at which their citizens buy petrol, then try to get their minimum wage. That's when you'll realize that some people just choose to be foolish and stupid when trying to defend evil.

Are you argueing that it is ok for Nigerian fuel to be the cheapest in Africa while the naira continue to be weaker hence Nigerians can't afford to purchase the "cheap" fuel?

How do you now define the word "cheap" when it is actually expensive judging from the weak naira.?

Keep feeding yourselves with propaganda...don't complain about the current hardship, na turn by turn e go touch everybody.

I hope this Tinubuconomics won't make you all run mad soon.

These people are pathetic and bad losers! Liars! Thank God Nigeria dodged a bullet. Imagine, they are not in power yet lying like this. What would happen if they had won? The propaganda would have been out of this world. No wonder people called their candidate the Chief Lamba. Like principal, like supporters!
