Cameroonian goalkeeper, Andre Onana, has divulged his heartfelt reason for the decision to refuse the coveted number one shirt at his new club, Manchester United, which was left vacant by former goalie, David de Gea after he departs from the Premier League giants this summer.

Despite becoming the third-most expensive goalkeeper in history following his remarkable £47 million transfer from Inter Milan, Onana opted for a less conventional jersey number choice – the No.24 shirt.
