The test is for suspected TB. The result of the sputum test will be ready in 8weeks. Once cleared, she will undergo another X ray 30days after the negative sputum . Medical will be updated to pass thereafter if all goes well. The test have no effect on the application, it only prolonged it.

Hello my people, I need some advice. I helped a friend in putting in student permit. She her upfront medical in Lagos and was told she had TB and request for more test.

She has completed a scrotum test. Was wondering the effect of this to her application. But when she went to another clinic, they said she is fine.

Good morning bosses in the house. I have been following every ideas and guidelines here so far and I’m so glad for all your help.

I’m currently applying for my study permit and my wife SOWP. Right now I am stuck with my wife’s application.

I don’t know if I am to choose visitor/super visa or Work permit for her.
When I pick work permit it’s showing me if I am H1b applicant or not sure I have attached the pictures.

Please let me know what I can do.

Thanks

Use old portal for your application, you can't use the new ircc portal if you have a dependent.

Please I need help on how to go about proof of funds. I am self-sponsored and by God's grace I was able to secure full-tuition scholarship from Dalhousie University Canada, something I have chased for 4years now. I have personal saving of about $1,300 dollars and I am still saving up. The challenge is showing proof of living expenses which is about CAD20,635. I have not been able to file in my application because of this. My admission is for September. Please I desperately need help on how to go about this. Thank you.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by ehiremen2002: 5:09pm On May 03
Wow, thanks for the detail clarification.

But this is issue as the PAL will no longer be honoured as she was to start in May. We might even be at risk for Fall Session.

Her admission in UofR validity is for 1year ending in september 2024. Will the PAL still valid?

Congratulations on your full scholarship, what does it cover? because some full scholarship covers living expenses too. If yours only covers tuition then find a way to make up for the living expenses.

I believe PAL are valid for a year at least that is what I found online. Factor in 13 weeks from date of sputum test to medical PASSED. Once medical is updated, finalization can come any time from that point.. So be hopefully for a September resumption.

Yes I used them but not to Canada. You could chat with a representative to confirm if or not they ship to Canada.

koreanlord:
thank you sis....I was told that they recently stopped shipping to Canada...

Did you use them within the last one month?

The person shouldn't have bordered to send additional payment after the payment of $1500CAD deposit to make up 10kCAD . There are some certain courses approved by the IRCC. I do not think this is part of it .

Thank you both, please I wanted to submit an application for open work permit and study permit together for me and my spouse but when it was time to proceed it was only showing option for spouse of a person with H1B visa. This is not my case. Please do you know if my spouse needs to apply with a separate account?

Good Day All
I am so grateful for this space. I applied to Centennial College since last year December for the September intake International Development with Co-op and up until now I haven't heard anything from the school. Although I have been active on their groups of Facebook and after May intake admission all the activeness on the groups reduced. Please House, is there any other person who applied for the September intake or someone who is Currently in the College? Please I look forward to being in touch 🙏🏽

Yes he has to pay the full semester to get PAL, this is the new development.

Is this only applicable to Conestoga or to some other schools including university diploma ?

Because i can see some people are receiving their PAL from other schools after having paid deposit only.
