Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq has approved a cash of N10,000 to every public sector worker in Kwara as a palliative measure to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal. In a press conference at the Government House, Ilorin the Chief Press Secretary to Kwara State Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye disclosed sai the sum was to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal. He added that the N10,000 monthly palliative will last until the new minimum wage is introduced. Ajakaye reiterated that the free bus service for students of Tertiary Institutions within the state capital introduced in June is still running subsequently.
