"This life no balance" is a phrase popular among internet users to describe people in a position of wealth or authority to show that they also deserve it but are probably unlucky. Most people and I thought the phrase is only limited to human personal or private issues but we were wrong!

How can Israel,a highly developed country with one of the highest HDI and a tech advanced society be having a territory of 20k sq km?
And one backward uncivilized sparsely populated country like Mali be having a million+? What the hell are they doing with such chunk of territory? Make Israel just capture that unused swathes of land and watch them become even more developed and a bigger economy than present.

For christ saké Honk Kong needs more land for its unending building and developmental project and make it bigger to be a country because I don't think that small territory is big enough to an independent nation and Russia not too far from her has unused vast unhabited land and is still annoyingly thirsty for more for no any reason other than to be merely bigger! I just dey fantasize say make Hong Kong get access to like 100k sq km from Russia I'm sure most of their problem is solved and they'll even be more developed

I got seriously enraged the day I realized Japan and Russia (Soviet Union) got involved in a territorial dispute and Russia later got it! Bleep! Who does that? And everywhere dey silent? This is one of the imbalance we're talking about. How can...................... make I no talk cos I go vex talk wetin I no suppose say!

The United States seems to be a perfect manifestation of my fantasy but deep down I feel the territorial size of the US is not enough angry
AMERINADA comes in. What's Amerinada? AMERINADA is defined as Damian911 fantasy country that involves the current territory of US and Canada plus Mexico up till the whole territory is 20m sq km. Sometimes reading although not easy I feel the US probably had the opportunity to have the whole territory of North America to itself. Maybe with Amerinada in term of size it could have gone toe to toe with the Soviet Union and more powerful than it currently is in all ramifications you can think of except gun violence!

So guys what do you think of this and besides am I this kind of thought 🤔? Your inputs are highly valued

Just look at what you wrote up there. One would imagine what would have inspired such fantasies. The only plausible answer is weed.

The only solution to Nigeria's problem is for us to be recolonized, preferably by the British. Not China or India. There must also be an agreement in place that we won't agitate for 'independence' until at least 200 years have passed from the inception of the colonization. We were hastily granted 'independence'. That's why we don't appreciate it. Look at South Africa. It was not until the Whites had developed the country that they allowed the black man (under strict supervision of course) any say in running the country...

Life truely no balance…

But I think sometimes the smaller the better. It’s always easier to manage a smaller territory/population than a bigger one. Maybe if Israel had the size of Russia or the population of India/China there would not have been so successful. Although I understand the importance of human capital in development.

It’s easier for instance for a teacher to manage a group of 10 students than a group of 300 students. It will take a lot of resourcefulness on his part.

Some times bigger territory comes with a lot of problems. On the flip maybe Nigeria would have been better run/managed if it was smaller- the size of Benin republic for instance.

Bigger doesn’t always translate to better.

In my mind what matters are the resources- both human and physical/natural available and how this is managed for the overall good/growth of all.

The best run countries are the smaller ones really!

The above got me. grin
But remember say "our kwantry" self get him own issue o!

Let's talk of power alone; since electricity got to Nigeria in 1896, 60KW by 2 generators and 6,200MW later added some years after, we are still where we are just as we were where we were decades ago.

History about that in the link below.
https://nerc.gov.ng/index.php/home/nesi/401-history

Not some days ago I read on front page that it had dropped to 3,063MW. grin
Naija, I hail thee.

Same country which couldn't maintain Hydro Electricity wants to build Nuclear Power Plants? grin

Bros, Israel can achieve that much because they value themselves. Here in this country, lives has a very little value to the extent that one man had to sell three his own children.

Every countries today have their boundaries and are ready to die defending it…

Remove Greed and power drunkenness from Africa and see it thrive.

See, make I no talk too much jare.

Bro you no too get wetin I dey yarn! What I'm saying is that those hyper developed countries that are small in size deserve more territory and I believe with the way they're developed and with more territory they'll be more developed. You're talking about recolonization that's not what I'm saying I mean such developed countries need more land not population.

The above write up has nothing to do with weed if you think otherwise, then something sinister is wrong with you!

You're right bro but what I'm saying is not about Nigeria what I'm saying is that most of these small highly developed countries like Israel, Ireland, England, Poland, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan etc deserve more territory (land) that's either unhabited or sparsely populated and large undeveloped countries like Mali,Niger DRC,Libya etc don't deserve their huge territorial size!

I'm not talking about more population rather more territory (land) that's either unhabited or sparsely populated not more population!

Not more people but land!

Some times bigger territory comes with a lot of problems. On the flip maybe Nigeria would have been better run/managed if it was smaller- the size of Benin republic for instance.

For highly developed small countries with opportunity for more territory there wouldn't be any problem and even if there will be will be well tackled!

Bigger doesn’t always translate to better.

It sometimes does! US, Canada Brazil Australia Saudi Arabia China are good examples.

In my mind what matters are the resources- both human and physical/natural available and how this is managed for the overall good/growth of all.

The reason most of these small countries deserve more territory is not only land but the possibility of discovery of mineral resources for the betterment of its citizens. The resources will be well managed for the good of all and sundry.

The best run countries are the smaller ones really!
True but remember countries like Cambodia, Haiti, Laos, Jamaica, etc are small countries.
