How did you get the check in the first place? The bank account is a dollars account definitely an American bank, and you are trying to use a Nigerian bank to clear it... It's just like saying, I give you a NGN1m check with a Gtb bank account, and you travel all the way to USA, looking for Bank to clear it for you?? Listen, tell the Payer/Payor to send the money into your bank account... Then you the Payee can cash it here ... |

okorienairadoll: No Nigerian bank will accept that cheque from you because they will not be able to clear it to get value. Even if they decide to accept it the cost of sending it abroad to get confirmation through the American clearing system will be far above it's face value of $75! 1 Like |

Zidoh: I actually requested for paypal payment method but was given the check. I tired contacting the people but I may eventually spend more than the value of the check if I do (New York phone number). The system has an automated answering machine. I may spend hours before reaching a human to address my problem. That's y I need your help. The check is legit with my name clearly written on it. I just need where to clear it |
