Hello nairalanders, is there anyone In the house with a first hand knowledge of skoda Fabia. I'm trying to get one but I need to hear from people who probably have used the car before.

Its a good car. Volkswagen's are really good to drive. It feels solid on the road, when you enter potholes on the road, the car just feels in one piece, its reinforced sort of.
But parts are not readily available everywhere. For me, the parts have been expensive, and my mechanic-a very expensive one at that. One visit, I can spend 90k lol. The parts can be gotten at a place called Iyana-itire in Lagos, that place is a one-stop-shop for volkswagen-audi-skoda-porsche-bentley.
Below is the picture, Its the only car I have/use as at now.

My advice is, look towards japanese for now; Toyota and Honda. Look for the slightly more reinforced ones, with good driving and go for it. These german(czech as these case may be) cars, They are for people with more money, and who can tinker with the car by themselves.

Get honda and get peace of mind. 90% of Nigerians use Honda/Toyota , there is a big reason why. Please don't learn by trying it.
