When someone speaks in parables {Matthew 13:13, 34} the best thing to do is for his audience to ask questions {Matthew 13:10, 36} the symbolical meaning of sword is division or war so when Jesus told his Jewish listeners he brought them no peace but sword it simply means his teachings will cause division among those that failed to understand him but within his faithful disciples there will be LOVE {John 13:34-35} JOY {Luke 10:17} and PEACE!
