Job Description

We are seeking a Design Engineer/Project Engineer to join our team to assist with our current design projects. The work is expected to include:

• Becoming familiar with Standard Specifications of clients for which we are providing design services.
• Attending virtual meetings with project team.
• Assisting, or taking a lead, in design of bridge rehabilitation projects.
• Assisting, or taking a lead, in design or rehabilitation of civil engineering facilities.
• Performing engineering calculations and checking calculations performed by others.
• Originating engineering drawings in CADD (Autocad or Microstation).
• Reviewing engineering drawings prepared by others.

Minimum Requirements for Design Engineer/Project Engineer
• B. S. Civil Engineering Degree with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Design experience ( bridges, culverts, highways, facility sites) is an added advantage
Desired Software Experience
• CAD Software (Microstation Select Series Current Version, AutoCAD Current Version)
• Roadway Modeling Bentley InRoads
• Traffic Analysis & Modeling (HCS, Vissim, Synchro, Simtraffic, etc.)
• Drainage Design (HEC-HMS, \ HEC-RAS, etc.)
• Microsoft Office
The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and in a collaborative environment and have a high degree of accountability.
