The West, under France and the U.S have perfectly set a TRAP for ECOWAS to go into a total war in the region. Any mistake of military intervention in Niger means we are done with.

Any military coup that lasted beyond 24 hours becomes successful. At that point, the military would have secured the approvals of all the stakeholders of that country. Trying any military means of restoring order means a total war against our neighbors, particularly when the people are happily jubilant.

In essence, it means we will be shooting missiles against each other across our borders. A total catastrophe against our countries and peoples.

Imagine the influx of refugees from Niger Republic into Nigeria, with our current dearth situation in Nigeria. This should never be imagined.

President Tinubu must be courageous enough to resist French and U.S pressure on ECOWAS to wage any military action against Niger. We must use non-kinetic, diplomatic approach.

If we make a mistake of involving military means in Niger, we may end up inviting more internal problems to ourselves and to the effort we made so hard in building a democratic government in place.

The truth of the matter is, West Africa has failed to protect democracy. Our only option now is to learn from the failures and prevent repeating it, not to completely destroy our region in the interest of Western Powers, against our security interests.

A perfect trap has been prepared by the West, led by France and the United States, for ECOWAS to enter a total war in the region. We are finished if military action is taken in Niger Republic.

Any military takeover that last for more than 24 hours is deemed successful because the military would have won the support of all relevant parties in that nation.

A total war against our neighbors which would result from using any military force to restore order, especially when the populace is joyfully happy about the take over will not end well.

Hehehe, you are telling Mr. Corruption himself that you overthrew the man because of corruption - and you expect him to clap for you! cheesy

Bottom line is, the populace support the coup plotters. Once that is the case there's NOTHING anybody can do.. that's the end of the matter!

Hehehe! Tinubu that did a democratic coup against his nation is talking of going to confront armed soldiers compatriots? Is that not utter foolishness?

Meanwhile, it seems Adamu Garba is no more loyal. He has forgotten that Niger Republic is Buhari’s home country and he is so useless as a retired major-general that he expects Tinubu to do the intervention for him?

Nigerien's are happy with their coup. It's best we mind our business. A war with Niger will be messy and Nigeria will pay more.
Dialogue, sanctions etc. yes. But at all cost avoid military confrontation.

Nigeria don fall hands... Nigeria failed to develop to a big brother country in Africa, especially West Africa that others look up to. Now they talk to us anyhow. Their currency is almost equal or slightly above our naira...I mean CFA
...so now they want to send the West away to build their economy with China and Russia...

Any nonesense, they will open the flood gates of terrorists into Nigeria. France made Tinubu ECOWAS chair, thinking that he will do their bidding in the region and thinking that Nigeria is still the big brother in the region, they don't know that Africa don see us finish.

Imagine a Camerounian telling me we are passing through a lot in Nigeria. Many Nigerians are now flooding into Cameroun, getting Cameronian Passport and traveling to Singapore, Philippines, Ecuador etc visa free...

Our country is down, our currency is down, our passport is down... security down

Anyways violence never resolved anything.. suppression never did any1 any good.. dialogue will for ever remain key..

Not surprised with what he said. Niger republic neighbors Nigeria north, meaning if Nigeria/ ECOWAS wage war against Niger republic it's nothern area that will feel the impacts more.

It reach Niger matter, hausa man dey speak brighter grammar.
Nigeria as a country only exists in the mind of a few deluded people. Tribal affiliations run deeper than Lady Lugard's creation.

BTW, the dude is right in his submission. Just that it's coming from the wrong place in his heart

Tinubu should leave Niger alone but do as much as possible to protect our borders.

Nigeria has a bigger problem than the coup. let them decide for themselves just like afganistan did.

Nigeria should face it here. Our currency is devaluating and to secure a job is not easy.

Any govt weighs interest, pros and cons before military intervention expecially when it is outside your shores. What is our gain in mobilising our army into Niger?
Since Wagner is in the mix don't you think it seems to be proxy conflict that is brewing? Honestly tinubu is in serious quagmire now. Will dance to Moscow or USA?
If I am in his shoes I will chose diplomacy. Even North Nigeria expecially Bubu will not like military action in Niger Republic lead by Nigeria. They will see it as a fight against them.
