The ongoing coup crisis in Niger has raised doubts about the effectiveness of ECOWAS' intervention and Bola Tinubu's leadership role in the process. While ECOWAS claims to be committed to restoring democracy in Niger, some skeptics question the organization's ability to bring about meaningful change in the midst of the political turmoil. President Bola Tinubu will bring a effective solution to the situation in Niger. As a private citizen he intervened in Gambia in a similar but different pattern of power grab and succeeded in bringing truce. I'm going to create perspectives and shed light on how modern societies are governed. The most disciplined sector of society is the military. Their organization and heirarchy are structured organically that expectations and effectiveness, as well as efficiency go hand in hand. Giant corporations at multinational level borrowed this structure to organize their own discipline and culture from top to bottom. When a board of directors in a multinational corporation scout for a CEO candidate they do not care for resume. They use different selection criterias to pick the right person for the job. The task is connected to the performance of their stock and shareholder interest. If stock do well, investment grow, shareholders earn more and company expands. It's not more than 3 qualifications they look for, and the prime one is a candidate's response to challenges in market turbulence and political policies. These two define what makes a great and steady CEO. Bringing this down to our situation in Nigeria and President Bola Tinubu. When faced with political, social and economic turbulence, how did this man handle it as governor of Lagos? Look also into the recent progression from APC primary, campaign to his victory at the polls, barriers were stacked against him...how did he make it through? As a last consideration, who else in this country has effevtively intervened in a foreign power debacle and successfully attained peaceful outcome? President Tinubu will get result in Niger. It is a matter of time. I trust him. 1 Like |

Biodun556: Ukraine is currently kicking Russia's ass and killing scores of Wagner members. Thats why Putin is beginning to threaten to use tactical nuclear weapons (as empty as the threat of invading Finland and Sweden if they joinned NATO). Its a paper tiger bro. US and France is also backing ECOWAS so the contracted mercenary group Wagner nothing to worry about. |

TookDownYourMum: I wish our president and Nigeria good luck. Nigerian can use that opportunity to secure more sophisticated weapons from the US I love Russia but sponsoring military coup in Africa is not a good one. |

Biodun556: I dont want Nigeria to invade Niger either and would much prefer ECOWAS just sanctioning Niger instead, they wouldn't last 6 months under sanctions. |

which Bola Tinubu? Is it the woman whose certificate was stolen by bro Amoda? But if you mean the current brother Amoda of Nigeria, no way! Haven't you noticed that most west Africa nations don't regard or respect him. Even little Niger mocked him the other day. They see him as a thief that stole another man's mandate and so cannot respect or regard him or anything that comes from him |

TookDownYourMum: That is still tantamount to war… let them go to war. After all America will be very interested and throw in support, I know Nigerians will not open their eyes and sit and watch. All will help the disintegration of this country. 😒 Nnamdi Kanu will be freed and can rule over his people anyhow he likes… boko haram can have their own country or state too …there would be peace everywhere |

updatechange: Boko Haram ain't really a domestic national threat anymore, they have been restricted to a few villages up Northeast of Nigeria and dont hold any strongholds. Buhari even though his from Niger has condemned the coup voiced for Tinubu and ECOWAS to act. Igbos down southeast at most will do their usual protesting stunts which police can handle. if it did come to war or more like a special military operation, Nigeria only needs to send a few thousand while Niger small force of 12,000 will have to dedicate their entire force to fight ECOWAS. Jihadists in Niger will take advantage of this situation so they will be split fighting two fronts. Algeria has reconfirmed they won't be helping Niger. Mali and Burkina Faso statements are hot air, Jihadists already control 25% of Burkina Faso and Jihadists control little more than half of Mali and has only gotten worse since they kicked out France so what the f*ck is Wagner even doing? Killing civilians and looting their minerals. That's why they are depending on Russia to help which won't come. China will not help Niger either as they will want to protect their investments in Nigeria which is a way bigger economy. In short, if it came to it, Niger is basically f*cked either way. It also relied on foreign aid to fight said Jihadists in their country which was recently cut. I honestly give then 2 weeks before Niger military surrenders or commits a mutiny. |

All because of the illegitimatlcy of how Tinubu got into government. Besides Nigeria have the precedence of not obeying the decision of the ECOWAS courts right from the days of Buhari. |
