A fast and thriving logistics company transitioning to technology with location in Ikeja is in need of an human resources specialist. Key Responsibility Human Resource Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the company. - Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection. - Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely and effective onboarding of new employees. - Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, teamwork, and productivity. - Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a fair and timely manner. - Organize employee engagement programs, team-building activities, and recognition initiatives to boost morale and loyalty. - Implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and facilitate professional growth. - Work with managers to establish performance improvement plans and recognize high-performing employees. - Identify training needs within the organization and design training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. - Coordinate with external training providers and internal subject matter experts to deliver effective training sessions. - Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards. Regularly review and update the company's compensation policies to attract and retain top talent. - Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with local labor laws and regulations. - Ensure compliance with labor laws, industry standards, and company policies. - Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement health and safety programs and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, payroll information, and attendance records. Utilize HRIS systems to streamline data management and reporting.
