Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially expressed his wish to invade Niger Republic. He has sent official approval request to the “rubber & stamp” Nigerian Senate. Brace up Nigerians! Brace up Africa! War is at your doorsteps. The region of Sahel is about to go up in flames.

Niger Republic has cut ties with Nigeria as peace talk fail. Burkina Faso has raised the alert level of its troops to a State of War. But coups are merely the symptoms of the problem, coups are not the problem themself. When Tinubu stole election in Nigeria, where was the ECOWAS?

When sit tight W-African leaders perpetuate themselves in office, how does ECOWAS respond? “When African democracies enslave the people of Africa, know that the fire will consume Africa.” Things are now in motion that may not be undone. War between brothers is about to begin.

ECOWAS (Nigeria more specifically) played its card too early. The protests in Niger organized by the M62 Anti-French Group is no joke. You have anti-French sentiments everywhere. ECOWAS is the aggressor here. When a people want to be left alone, by all means “leave them alone!”

I’m a Pacifist, I could never support coups nor wars. In this case, it’s an unprovoked, very unnecessary war. Think of the casualties on both sides, the unimaginable, unmitigated human & material losses. How do you begin to comprehend the no justification? Where do u start from?

It may be a Palace Coup, but one with international dimension nonetheless. Russia won’t fail to come to the aid of Niger. So I see the balkanization of the ECOWAS in its immediate aftermath. Like the Austro-Hungarian Empire, ECOWAS is about to fragment. BUT HOW DID WE GET HERE?

Whatever happens in Niger Republic, Historians will talk about the cause & aftermath for years. I hope & I do pray the ECOWAS will hold off its advance. But if they do charge in, I have no prayers for any troops nor leaders. Somehow, the war must come for Africa to move forward!

Nigeria wants to impose who rules another country. Na wa for corruption, tinubu nigerians didn't elect you to meddle in external politics and pesting. Leave Niger alone for the USA let them handle their politics until human rights abuse sets in then the world power can sanction them. Remember USA didn't succeed fighting Talibans and rebels in Afghanistan even with their sophisticated weapons.
