See, there's a difference between snapping and uploading picture of election result on iREV vs sending raw figures to INEC office. This judgement is about the raw figures which have been collated.

Yes inec can decide how to transmit resuits with their guideline. Ironically, inec guideline for 2023 election stated that irev and bvas would be used to upload and store results.
Tribunals would based their judgement on inec manual, electoral act and constitution.

INEC not only established the regulations for the 2023 general elections, it took a vow before the public that NO OTHER METHOD EXCEPT ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR VOTES RESULTS SHOULD BE USED FOR THE 2023 GENERAL ELECTION.
IT STUCK WITH ITS VOW EXCEPT IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.
INEC's vow to not use other method except electronic transmission of vote results effectively nullified any possibility for using another transmission method for vote results outside electronic transmission.

is the certified true copy given to obi,diot different from the certified true copy results inec use in declaring president tinubu as the winner?

The Appeal Court nullified the judgement of the FHC in determining how INEC should transmit election results. This is not in violation of the Electoral Act which gives INEC power to prescribe how results should be collated.

The FHC judgement did not specify if it is for the 2023 elections or for future elections, hence the nullification. As for what transpired in the 2023 elections, the Appeal Court has reserved judgement for the Elections Tribunal.
