Buhari's grandparents come from Niger Republic, so do many Northerners. Nigeria is a home to many Niger people. Many of them in the North came from Niger Republic. To many of them, Niger is their kindred. So, what do you expect?

It will affect all of us. We all depend on northern farmers - if the war affects them, it affects us.
