Prince Adewale Egbedun took matters into his own hands when he confronted police officers allegedly involved in extorting motorists along a major highway within the state. That is how it has been here on Nairaland. I doubt anything can be done about it in the interim

Why praise the speaker? ... he did absolutely nothing that will deter Police from extorting citizens..... he did the opposite. Now the Police will do so even more because if caught .... nothing happens... no consequences. After the Senator left... why wouldn't the Police resume?... and even demand more from residents to make up for their losses? Toothless senator.
