At some point I worked at an advertisement agency.. I needed the job not for money but to move around, and update my CV. Two girls who were close to the boss hated me for absolutely no reason, one of them dated the boss...

No shit I minded my business and let them enjoy their, nonsense...

Soon the company had issues with the website developer and needed someone urgently..

I've been out of job for 2 months now. Recently my younger brother said there's a vacancy at his girlfriend's place of work. That I will be reporting to the girlfriend. I'm older than the lady in question just by a year. He said the lady is very rude and saucy. He also started giving me some kind of rules I must follow so as not to tarnish their relationship. He was discussing with the girl on phone and I overheard their conversation. The girl was saying she's very crazy and she can slap someone if not that I'm his sister. Today my brother was telling me that the salary he told me about the job has reduced. I'm suspecting that he made an arrangement with the girl to be giving him some percentage. I just feel off about the job. I feel I'll loose my respect because of this job. I'm not broke or hungry. I have some funds to take care of myself. I love my privacy too. I don't like a situation whereby the lady will start discussing me with my brother. I'm thinking of not taking the job. What's your advice?

Anything you can't reverse, try not to push. Now, if you accept to start the job and she slap you paaaaaaaaa after argument.... Can you hold it ? If you can endure the humiliation, do it. but know this that your respect is given out already unless she's well trained.
