Which specific area is covered? Aba metropolis starts from where and ends where?

Secondly, do the security agencies know the difference between private motorcycle rider and commercial motorcycle rider?

This is not the first ban. Okada was banned during T.A. Orji and Ikpeazu tenure.

Lol... And they talk of development πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚...
Very senseless government...
We need more ways for people to work and have a livelihood, you are banning the little available source of income...
Why not enforce complete Okada kits for them to wear to ensure safety?
Now that they ban Okada, a livelihood of a common Okada man has ended, a livelihood of business men selling Okada parts has ended and also livelihood of those "Importing Okada" had ended ...

Tomorrow government will roll out one or two buses all in the name of "Cushioning the effects of banned Okada"...

Rubbish...
Tomorrow they will cry that unemployment rate is increasing, no investors bla bla bla...

You want to turn Abia (Nigeria as a whole) to Tokyo abi Newyork overnight!!!!!

Most cities in Nigeria don't permit the use of motor circles. Even keke is restricted to some areas in port Harcourt.

Stop typing nonsense. Okada has always been banned in Umuahia town for the past 16 years. It's nothing new.

Hehehe.

All I see in all the state's that ban bike is leadership failure. You argue they cause hold up and crime, why not create good road network's and security for them.

I traveled to Chennai in India, they have almost 12m people in that city and the road network's and security is fine. With a lot of bridge's and railroad in almost every corner.

Our leaders are really funny people. Once they don't have solution to a problem, they bring a myopic solution.

With the recent fuel price bikes should be encouraged not discouraged.

Hope he has provided an alternative source of income for those Okada rider, Okada spear part sellers and Okada mechanics that will become jobless.

Except he wants the number of UGM and criminals to increase.

Okada has been banned in aba since.the time of TA ORJI.
I don't know the last time I saw Okada in aba.
Rural parts still use it though so I see this news as propaganda against Otti.
Umuahia, Enugu, abakaliki awka, Onitsha, I have not seen Okada these places in ages.
Na Kele.
Except you go deep inside there are. No major roads.

Good one from Alex Otti. He is a good friend of our beloved Anambra governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo CFR. Together both of them will move Igboland to greater heights.

They said Umuahia and Aba metropolis. It doesn't apply to the villages and other places. It has always been like that since the days of T.A Orji

Commercial motorcycle has been banned in Aba and Umuahia metropolis as far back as T.A Orji. Except in Ariaria axis. Don't know where you found this news, talk more of the authenticity. No links either

Modified: confirmed it now. It's an affirmation of the standing ban on COMMERCIAL motorcycles and not private. Before police will start misbehaving
