For the past few months, I have been wondering where Nigerians are when it comes to the IT industry in the US. In the past few months I have been working on opening an online healthcare platform where I can consult with my patients and provide Telehealth Care and it has been a very interesting process.

Majority of the people who are my partners are either from India, Palestine, Turkey and Kenya. I have never met any of these people and I transacted all my business online with them and in very little time, I had my entire platform up and running.

I had two Kenyan young men build my website and set it up for receiving online payments. I had Palestinians set up my entire online Telehealth platform. They schedule patient visits, Health insurance payment payments, and the entire operational processes. Everyone has been very professional and on point. I didn't hear any excuses about NEPA or my grandfather died. These guys are eating good and my business is flourishing.

This made me start thinking about my Nigerian youth who are proficient in IT. The US healthcare system is moving to Telehealth Care and everyone is cashing into this new industry. Out of all my colleagues who are opening these businesses, I haven't seen anyone dealing with any Nigerian service provider online. It is all diverse people who are running these background work for us. Kenyans are killing it for real. I have formed friendships and partnerships with these Kenyans who deliver results exactly whe I need it.

Nigerians, y'all need to wake up.
