The former governor of Imo state, Senator Rochas Okorocha has endorsed the incumbent Governor of Imo state, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma to contested for a second term in office. In a meeting summoned by the new party National Chairman of APC, Alhaji Umar Ganduje and in the presence of the Vice president, Senator Kashim Shettimma, the former Imo Governor endorsed his successor as he noted that he will fully support the governor whom he referred as his party man. With the successful meeting, APC is now united to go into the November 11 election as one united body. Meanwhile, feelers from the camp of the candidate of the PDP Sam Daddy has it that the camp is currently in mourning moods since the news of the reconciliation of the governor and his predecessor and the former Governor's endorsement broke out in the media. Sam Daddy who was banking on the supports of people like the former governor are now in tears as their ticket has confirmed early defeat.
