Engineering is a challenging but rewarding field. It requires a strong foundation in math and science, as well as the ability to think critically and solve problems. It is the use of innate or learned knowledge, skills, and creativity to design, build, and maintain systems, structures, and technologies that improve the quality of life. Over the years, engineers have continued to alter the conventional way things are done.

In spite of the benefits of being an engineer, many school leavers find the field of engineering quite overwhelming due to the erroneous perception that engineers pass through a great deal to acquire engineering skills. This erroneous perception makes it even more daunting for them to consider a career in engineering. This is often based on the fact that engineering degrees require a lot of mathematics and science courses, which can be difficult for some students.
