Honestly, I am tempted to believe that Nigerian Christians are hypocrites.

Where have all the energy decipated during the election disappeared to?
I can vividly remember how we were pushed to bring our PVC for prayers, asking God for a free and fair election. The energy and voicing were much, advocating for justice and rightful procedures. But the election was not properly done. We all know what happens.
After everything, the next thing I'm hearing now in most congregation is ''THIS ADMINISTRATION WILL FAVOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ''
Why have the Christian given up so soon?
Can we now say everything is now the will of God?
Is this how God wishes to answer all our prayers?
Or we are just hypocrites?

Apart from this pastor Sarah,
https://fb.watch/mxzkH9TIS_/?mibextid=Ho8ZP4furl6uuICR

every other person, have gone to hiding.
No one is asking his congregation to pray for justice and right decision from the judiciary.
Transportation is very high, people are suffering. But no religious leader is complaining.
What's your opinion on this?

True Christians have nothing to do with voting human government because our government is not of this world! John 18:36
We are praying for God's Kingdom to come {Matthew 6:9-10} all human governments will be exterminated {Daniel 2:44} that's why Herod the great wanted baby Jesus dead {Matthew 2:16} because as a Jew he knew from the scriptures that the Christ will destroy all human government! smiley

It is churchgoers you mean. Christians would have told you that God left you people since you rejected Him and chose men to rule you, so why disturb Him? Find another man to solve your problems for you na.

Are you for real? While you're waiting for God's kingdom, are you not taking part in the activities going on here? Does the government policies not affect everyone?

It's through Government policies Jesus was put to death yet he relied completely on God's Kingdom! John 18:36

His disciples are to do the same thing! smiley

Jesus instructed his disciples to pray for God's Kingdom to come so that the righteousness of God will take place on earth as it is in heaven {Matthew 6:10} but you want your fellowman to die simply because he is mimicking what Jesus commanded his disciples! Matthew 28:20
Hmmmmmmm, well i'm glad i have my family of peace loving worshipers globally and we are anticipating the coming of Christ's righteous rule on this planet! Isaiah 9:7
So you can wish your fellowman death but know that what he said is exactly from Jesus Christ not human thinking, we know that this wicked human governments are making life unbearable for everyone {Ecclesiastes 4:1; 8:9} yet Jesus consoled us with this words:

"the one who has endured to the end will be saved" Matthew 24:15

The endurance isn't like fighting for imperfect human government by killing or supporting the killing of your fellow humans due to different choices among politicians {Revelations 6:3-4} rather it simply means we will wait patiently no matter what happens for Jesus to come {Habakkuk 2:3} and wipe out unrighteousness while we continue preaching and teaching in all our neighbourhood about God's Kingdom! Matthew 24:14

So even though the guy in question is not one of my brothers in the faith i'm telling you now that what he said will stand against you in the day of judgement unless you're not one of those claiming followers of Christ! Matthew 7:21-23

Jesus knew all these will happen {Matthew 24:3-12} before he said:

Are you suggesting we ignore government, politics as Christians?

Perhaps you need to know why Jews hated Jesus with passion when he walked the earth.

The Roman government were oppressing them, economic conditions was really bad in Judea, some among them were working for the Roman government to extort money from them in form of tax, their religious leaders were making the burden heavier on the people, demonic spirits were feasting on the flesh of the people possessing most of their children.
With all of these happening to his people Jesus had the miraculous power to heal the sick, raise the dead, multiply little food to feed thousands, cast out powerful demons, control the forces of nature but will not do anything about the human government oppressing his people.
So after a thorough research on the scriptures they discovered that the only prophet they're expecting at that time supposed to be the Christ who (according to the scriptures) will destroy all evildoers and human government then establish righteous government globally! Daniel 2:44

That's why they decided to force the kingship on him {John 6:15} hoping to kill whoever oppose this great prophet destined to be the king of the Jews.

But Jesus ran away from them because it's not yet time to end badness!

So there's nothing human government can do because the system is corrupt and based on prejudice instead of expecting miracles from an imperfect human why not go and make your government pay everyone equal salary from the president to the gateman in government schools and see if Paradise will not come automatically?

That's what Jesus' government is coming to do {Matthew 20:1-15} apart from healing the sick and raising the dead.

But 99.9999% of people will object to such an idea yet they want to pay some fortune while others live like paupers and they want peace, security and justice! smiley

There's no developed country anywhere!

Those people sacrificed a lot of lives in WARS before they're able to sit on a round table to start all over again. And did that end poverty, insecurity and prejudice among them?
NO!
They're just managing this deteriorating system of things, their people over there are still protesting against their governments over policies! undecided
