What Sanwo-Olu is wearing is an original Patek Philippe wrist watch, no go there.


But to me, it doesn't really matter cos he is worth it and we all have things we cherish. If in my poverty level, I buy watch of $650, and perfumes of $100, $130, then Sanwo-Olu putting on a Patek Philippe watch isn't a big deal.

This type of behaviour makes the Naira fall in value, which then leads to higher petrol prices in Nigeria. It is a big shame most of our people cannot connect the dots.
